沉思錄是我的腦袋有時候無法放空的時候,很喜歡閱讀,透過閱讀,可以把想法脫離現實,轉到書中。閱讀了一本「馬可‧奧里略」撰筆的沉思錄,讓我的精神連接到古羅馬時代了。
▎沉思錄的由來
《沉思錄》是一部由古羅馬帝國皇帝馬可·奧里(Marcus Aurelius)為自己所寫的反省筆記,希臘語:Τὰ εἰς ἑαυτόν, Ta eis heauton,英語:Meditations, 意譯為「自我反省的思考/作品」。
馬可·奧里於西元161年至180年期間統治羅馬帝國,雖在位期間面臨許多戰爭與挑戰,他運用自省的能力與哲學智慧,逐一解決問題。在繁亂的戰爭下,羅馬帝國也保持的相對穩定。他是羅馬帝國五賢帝時期最後一位君主,也是最著名的一位,以賢明的統治者與務實領導而著名。
主要為斯多葛學派觀點,分析一個人對自我和他人的判斷以及發展宇宙視角的重要性。
